Ancelotti to rescue Real Madrid career of Kaka

Posted on July 16, 2013 by admin

If anybody knows how to get the best out of Real Madrid’s Brazilian midfielder Kaka, surely it is Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian coach was the manager at AC Milan for the whole six seasons that Kaka was there. During that time, the player won the Ballon D’Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year before they were merged, and Ancelotti is convinced that he can make the 31-year old rediscover some of that form for Real Madrid this season.

Kaka cost Madrid over 60 million euros, but his time in Spain has been marred by injury and then the fact that Mourinho completely lost confidence in him, despite some fantastic performances. Ancelotti has faith in him, which could make a huge difference, and could be a fantastic bonus for Madrid.

The manager said, “I know him very well and we will work together to see the best Kaka.”

The midfielder still has two years left on his contract with Madrid, and is happy to stay. He also needs to play regular football to force his way back into contention for the Brazil national team ahead of the Rio 2014 World Cup. Kaka is not too old, and a player who was once the best in the world has got to have something to offer, as long as Ancelotti can get it out of him. If he can’t, no one can.
