Bale loses patience with Tottenham and will force his transfer to Real Madrid

After the reports hit the newspapers yesterday suggesting that Real Madrid might be on the verge of abandoning the transfer pursuit of Gareth Bale, the Tottenham and Wales star is apparently very unhappy about the way his Premier League club have handled the negotiations, to the extent that he has apparently told some of his Welsh international team mates that he will not play for Tottenham again, The Sun reports.

Bale is not going to play for Wales tonight, because he has not played for Spurs in pre-season for almost a month, and the Wales manager Chris Coleman does not want to risk him. He has joined the group for training, though, which tells you that the reason he has not played for Tottenham recently is not due to any mystery injury.

The report claims that Bale feels completely let down by the chairman Daniel Levy, who apparently promised his star player that he would not stand in the way of a dream move to the Bernabeu. His outrageous demands of a world record transfer fee can certainly be seen as obstructive, and that is how Bale seems to see it.

If this story is true, surely Levy will come to his senses and negotiate a fair price for Bale. There are less than three weeks of the transfer window left, so hopefully we will hear some good news soon.
