Could this be the year that a club becomes the first ever to win the Champions League in back to back seasons? If it is then it will be Real Madrid making it and recording an amazing 12th European cup triumph, way more than any other club.

And with the huge experience in the playing squad as well as the manager Zinedine Zidane Madrid have the tools for the job. The Frenchman clearly wants to make no mistakes and get off to the best possible start tonight, which is obvious from the strong line up Zidane has picked to face Sporting Lisbon of Portugal at home tonight.

Sky Sports has already reported that we can expect to see Cristiano Ronaldo to play the full 90 minutes in the first group game and he will be joined up front by the French international striker Karim Benzema as well as Gareth Bale.

Kiko Casilla
Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo
Casemiro, Kroos, Modric
Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema

Subs: Ruben, Pepe, Danilo, James Rodriguez, Kovacic, Vazquez, Morata.

In fact this Madrid side is just about as strong as it could be and if they play anywhere near their level then it should be the perfect start to what might be a historic campaign.
