Posted on July 02, 2013 by admin

There was quite a bit of surprise in the football world when Real Madrid confirmed that the young midfield star of Malaga and the Spain under 21 side, Isco, would be playing at the Santiago Bernabeu next season. That one of the best yound players in the world, especially if they are Spanish, moves to Real Madrid seems normal, but with Isco it was different.

For one thing, it seemed like his move to the English Premier League with Manchester City was almost complete. He had spoken about Manuel Pellegrini being his footballing father and moving to England. Also, Isco has previously spoken about his antipathy for Real Madrid. He spoke about the perceived arrogance of the Spanish giants and confessed to being a bit of an `Anti-Madridista`.

Real Madrid may be the biggest club in the world, but that does not mean that Carlo Ancelotti has unlimited supplies of money to spend. The new manager is not having to scrimp and save, by any means, but he must exercise some kind of control over the spending on players.

That is the main reason why Ancelotti will not just allow Gonzalo Higuain to join Arsenal for around £20 million, which is what the Premier League club have apparently offered. Madrid want around 30 million euros, because it will cost that much to replace him with similar quality.

We are expecting the announcement of Carlo Ancelotti as the new manager of Real Madrid this week, and the Italian will have to get straight down to work. These French clubs are really starting to get on my nerves. Real Madrid have already lost out to Monaco for Radamel Falcao, with rumours about them also planning a massive bid for our best player Cristiano Ronaldo. PSG appear to want to get in on the act now, with a bid to sign Gareth Bale from Tottenham ahead of Madrid.

Florentino Perez has been careful to act with respect in the attempt to make Carlo Ancelotti the new man in charge at the Bernabeu, because he still has a year left on his contract with the French champions. According to the English media, the Qatari owners of PSG are determined to outbid Madrid for Bale, although the Welshman has already spoken about his respect for the Spanish giants.

Jose Mourinho has not given up on his two main targets for adding to Real Madrid’s attacking line up. Manchester City and Spain midfielder David Silva has been brilliant at Euro 2012 so far and Real Madrid would love to add his qualities to the squad.

Brazilian midfield starlet Lucas Moura is the other major target for Mourinho. The 19-year old has been in sparkling form for Sao Paulo and Brazil, nut Madrid face strong competition from Chelsea and Inter Milan for his services.

P.S.G chase Pepe and Juventus want Higuain 0

Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sign Real`s portugese midfielder this summer.

Pepe has been given a rough ride by the spanish press this season with regards to his combative style of play. He may prefer to move to a league where his dynamism would be more appreciated.

Pepe has a contract with Madrid until 2016, and the termination clause is 45 million euros, but the bid needed would be more like 20-30 million euros.

However, he has been integral to Mourinho`s plans this year, being the seventh most used player, and if this continued, he would be unlikely to desire a move away.
