Mourinho gives Kaka another chance at Real Madrid

If the Brazilian international midfielder Kaka was a cat, he would have used up eight of his lives at Real Madrid. Jose Mourinho is going to give him what will surely be his last chance to impress the boss and the fans tonight in the Bernabeu trophy.

30-year old Kaka was the winner of the Ballon D’Or five years ago and cost Madrid 65 million euros to prise him away from AC Milan in 2009. He has never produced his best in Spain, showing flashes of his immense talent but not enough to earn him a regular place in the team.

Mourinho was willing to sell the player in the summer but did not receive an offer anywhere near his value. Kaka has not played a competitive game for Madrid since their elimination at the semi-final stage of the Champion’s league in April, in which he missed a penalty. He was substituted in pre-season against Celtic for a lacklustre showing and will be allowed to move at a massive loss in January unless he can improve quickly.

With Ozil and Modric not playing to their full abilities at the minute, Kaka has a great opportunity to save his career at the Bernabeu.
