Mourinho still has problems with Ramos but he should start for Real Madrid against Ajax

Jose Mourinho is the boss, that is certain. He has been given more control over affairs at Real Madrid than any of his recent predecessors and he is bigger than any player. Of course it will not be spoken about publicly, but he will not hesitate to drop players who do not keep in line and has done it before. The Special One is aware, however, that his main job is to win football matches and trophies.

Because of this, Sergio Ramos will probably start the champion’s league match against Ajax in Amsterdam tonight. Ramos has already missed a game due to his disagreement with Mourinho but was reinstated against Deportivo at the weekend. Marca has showed photographs taken during the match that show Ramos wearing the shirt of his German team mate, Mesut Ozil, under his own. This has led to speculation that the gesture was a dig at Mourinho but Ramos has denied it, sayimg that he wanted to deicate a goal to Ozil.

Madrid may have a few changes in the team tonight, with Khedira struggling for full fitness, Ozil or Modric possible starters and Fabio Coentrao available after suspension. Ajax are a talented side but they are young and inexperienced. With The Clasico away to Barcelona on Sunday, Madrid will not be throwing everything at this game but should still get a win.
