Mourinho wants England return – but at which club?

Jose Mourinho has told reporters that once his time at Real Madrid comes to an end, he wants to return to England and manage another club in the Premier League. The Real Madrid manager left Chelsea in 2007 and joined Italian giants Inter Milan. Mourinho who is called ‘The Special One’ spent 3 years with Chelsea, winning two Premier League titles, before he left in September 2007 after a strong disagreement with club owner Roman Abramovich.

But now the Portuguese national has stated his wish to return to the Premier League. Mourinho said;

“When I speak about it in Spain, they turn my words immediately. But I cannot deny what is clear in my mind – after Real Madrid, England. That’s for sure. But I keep saying the same – I know clearly that it’s where I want to be.”

Asked how many clubs he could go to in England, he replied: “In England – everyone, everyone. I’m Blue – I’m a London Blue – but I am a professional.”

For Madrid fans it’s not a worry because at the moment he stated that he only wants to return to England when his time as Real Madrid manager is over, however if he doesn’t get his team together and get some results in the league, then his time in Spain could be over faster than we first thought.

It will not be too long before 71-year old Alex Ferguson retires from managing Manchester United, and Roberto Mancini’s job at Manchester City will only be safe as long as he is successful, but the bookies believe that The Special one will be returning to Chelsea and they have been installed as 2/1 favourites to be Mourinho’s next club.

Man United are quoted as second favourites at just 3/1 and, for me, I believe that Alex Ferguson is setting Mourinho up to take over at Old Trafford when he retires. Man City are definitely a possibility at 6/1, while Tottenham are next at 10/.

The price for Mourinho to follow Arsene Wenger at Arsenal is 12/1 but I don’t think there is any way that could happen ever, although Liverpool is a possibility at the same.
