Christaino Ronaldo has proved his worth to Real Madrid over and over again, and the president of the club, Florentino Perez, would love to keep him for as long as possible. There is no team in the world who could offer enough money to Madrid to sell Ronaldo if he wanted to stay, but if the player decides to go, then Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to sign him.
The French club is owned by the oil rich Qatari Investment Authority, and they have spent an absolute fortune on players since taking over. They would love to add the name of Ronaldo to those of Ibrahimovich, Lucas Moura, Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi, but know that will only be possible if Ronaldo wants to leave the Bernabeu.
The former Brazilian international, Leonardo, is the sporting director of PSG, and he made no secret of the club’s wish to have the Portuguese genius join them in Paris. He has obviously heard the stories from earlier in the season about Ronaldo being unhappy for some reason, and is hoping that is still the case at the end of the season.
As fans of Madrid, we hope that the club can resolve any problems that Ronaldo has, because he would be a huge loss to us. Contrary to popular belief, Leonardo thinks that Jose Mourinho will still be the coach of Madrid next season. Perez has publicly backed him, but that does not mean a lot in today’s modern football world.
