International Weekend Round-Up For Real Madrid players

Spain 5-0 South Arabian
Casillas, Ramos and Albiol all played in Spain’s 5-0 win over South Arabia. More Real Madrid stars should be in action for Spain, when the side travel to Tbilisi this Tuesday to play against Georgia, in a world cup qualifying match for Brazil 2014.

Germany 3-0 Faroe Islands
Real Madrid players Mesut Özil and Samir Khedira played their first game of the world cup qualifying stages against the Faroe Islands and recorded a 3-0 win. Ozil was the German man of the match with two goals. The German side now travel to Vienna, where they will play against the Austrians on Tuesday.

Luxemburg 1-2 Portugal
Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 28th minute of the game to equalise for the Portuguese National team. Pepe and Coentrão also started the match in defence. Portugal will now play their 2nd game against Azerbaijan in Braga on Tuesday.

Finland 0-1 France
Karim Benzema shone for France in their 1-0 win over Finland in Helsinki. Benzema couldn’t find the back of the net, but he played a good game overall and claimed an assist for the only goal of the game.

Croatia 1-0 Macedonia
Luka Modric played in his national team’s 1-0 victory over Macedonia in Zagreb. The Croatian national team now face a tough trip to play Belgium away.

Argentina 3-1 Paraguay
Di Maria and Higuain both scored for Argentina as they took the top spot in the South American group for the 2014 World Cup. Di Maria opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a great shot from outside the box and then Di Maria played Higuain through for the striker to make it 2-1 to Argentina in the 30th minute.

Brazil 1-0 South Africa
Real Madrid defender Marcelo, played the full 90 minutes of the friendly match against South Africa. The Brazilians just scraped through with a 1-0 win.
