The opponents for Real Madrid today are Leganes and the newly promoted club will be massive underdogs to take anything away from the Santiago Bernabeu, especially after losing their last three La Liga matches in a row while Los Blancos stay two points clear of Barcelona at the top.
Not everything has been going fright for Madrid of late, however, with top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo having looked out of sorts and with the side needing a late goal away to the Polish club Legia Warsaw in midweek just to rescue a Champions League point.
Pictures from the Madrid training sessions this week reported by The Mirror do at least show Ronaldo looking a lot happier so that is one less thing for Zinedine Zidane to worry about. The manager is sure to be concerned about his defence though.
Three goals conceded to the Polish side meant it is now 10 games since Real Madrid kept a clean sheet and even though most of those games were won it is bound to cost you sooner or later. We can be almost certain that Madrid will score and often quite a few but in some games it mighht be just one and that is where a tight defence wins you games.
Will Zidane get the clean sheet he desires against Leganes?
