Ronaldo wants 7 in a row against Barcelona in Clasico!

Posted on January 29, 2013 by admin

If Real Madrid are going to beat Barcelona in the Bernabeu tomorrow, they will need the goal machine that is Cristiano Ronaldo to be firing on all cylinders. Recent history suggests that he will be, as the Clasico seems to bring out the competitive spirit in the Portuguese striker.

The 27-year old with dangerous weapons in his legs has scored in every one of the last six encounters between the clubs, seven goals in all. That is a fantastic achievement and will give Barcelona reason to fear. The Barca defence is always likely to concede, so Madrid need to get them on the back foot and we need Ronaldo to run at them and terrorise the defenders.

Cristiano has set off like a rocket in 2013, scoring 10 goals in his seven games so far. His total for the season is now 33, with 21 of those in La Liga. His perfect hat-trick at the weekend took him on to 302 goals in his club career. Another reason to be confident of him scoring is his record at the Santiago Bernabeu. Ronaldo has played just 87 games at the ground and scored an amazing 100 goals there. It is no wonder that the home fans love him.

Ronaldo has spoken about how loved he feels by the fans of Real Madrid. He will do his best to repay that tomorrow, and if he can inspire us to victory over Barcelona, we will love him even more.
