There have been lots of rumours about the Colombian striker Radamel Falcao and which club he might transfer to in the summer. Real Madrid are understandably keen to sign the prolific hit man, but it appears that they would have to pay their local city rivals much more than any other club to do so.
AS has reported that Atletico Madrid have put a clause into Falcao’s contract that means he would cost their city rivals Real €75 million, whereas any other club would only pay €60 million. Whether this will put Real Madrid off or not is unclear, but it does make it less likely. ......Read more...

The English Premier league clubs Chelsea and Manchester City will be ecstatic after hearing Jose Mourinho say that Real Madrid are not going to attempt to secure the transfer of the Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from their rivals Athletico Madrid.
Mourinho was giving an interview to A Bola in Portugal when he was asked about the prolific front man, who is level on league goals with Ronaldo and Messi.
“Falcao is a forbidden subject. He is a star and the fundamental player of our great rivals, just as Aguero was before. There is an unofficial sort of non-aggression pact between Madrid and Atletico.” ......Read more...

There has been a lot of speculation that Jose Mourinho would be bringing 23-year old stroking sensation to Real Madrid this summer. Whether it would involve a swap with Aguero’s Argentinean team mate Gonzalo Higuain or not was unclear. The theory was that Aguero was using Manchester City as a stepping stone to Real, as his former club, Athletico Madrid, would obstruct any transfer between the city rivals.
Any proposed move seems to have been abandoned, however, as the player nicknamed Kun due to his resemblance of a cartoon character has told Argentinean radio “My future is decided and I stay at Manchester City.” ......Read more...
