Isco in and Coentrao out of Real Madrid? 0

Posted on May 24, 2013 by admin

The Portuguese left back Fabio Coentrao had better hope that somebody wants to sign him from Real Madrid, because he has effectively burnt his bridges with the club’s fans by issuing a statement about how unhappy he is and has been since arriving at the Bernabeu.

Coentrao said, “From the first day I do not think I was wanted here.

“Today it seems like everyone wants me to leave the club. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong.

“We must find a solution that is good for both the club and myself, so that no-one will lose out.”

Real Madrid fans show their displeasure to Mourinho 0

Jose Mourinho chose not to face reporters at the press conference following last night’s match. Real Madrid had beaten Alcoyano 4-1 in the first leg of this Copa Del Rey encounter, and Mourinho gave some players a chance. Only Modric and Ozil from the regular first team started the game, and there was an odd atmosphere all night. It took until the 72nd minute for the substitue Di Maria to open the scoring, after which Callejon added two more, but it was not the game that caused supporters to boo Mourinho but the season so far.

Injury to Higuain forces Mourinho to play Ronaldo as Real Madrid striker 0

Jose Mourinho was left without a recognised central striker for Real Madrid after Gonzalo Higuain was forced to retire halfway through the Champions League match against German champions Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday. Mesut Ozil saved Madrid’s blushes with a last minute free kick to rescue a point, but Mourinho now has to worry about an away game against Levante in La Liga.

Levante in Valencia is not a ground you want to visit without your strikers. The team have only dropped two points in their last nine games in the Spanish and Europa leagues. They have scored 17 goals and conceded just six in their seven home games in La Liga this season.

Ronaldo leads Real Madrid back to winning ways 0

Christiano Ronaldo has now scored forty league goals after a thunderous double against Athletico Madrid. Madrid`s portugese number seven unleashed an unstoppable free kick to open the scoring. Athletico`s keeper, Coutois, looked bemused as Ronaldo`s shot changed direction in the air and sailed past him into the net.

Real Madrid`s nerves were jangling again when Falcao powered in a header to equalise soon after. Cometh the hour, cometh the man and it was Ronaldo again who sent Real back on the road to victory with a solo effort from way outside the penalty area. It was a similiar strike to the first, curling one way then the other and also dipping furiously to confound the keeper again.
